WHAT DOES BLIND MONOGRAMMING MEAN?

Blind emboss means that no foil is applied to the monogram. The monogram you choose will be indented into the leather but not coloured.

HOW MANY LETTERS CAN I DO FOR THE MONOGRAMMING?

This will depend on the handmade item that you are ordering, and also the customized dimensions that you prefer. The number of letters I can add is constrained by the size of the handmade item. As an estimate, the following items would look beautiful with these letter gauge:

  • Card case (standard size measures an estimate of 9cm (L) x 7cm (H) x 1.3cm (B) = 7 letters max.
  • Mini crossbody bag (standard size without dimension-customizing: 19cm (L) x 13cm (H) x 6cm (B) = 12 Letters max.
  • Midi crossbody bag (standard size without dimension-customizing: 22cm (L) x 16cm (H) x 8cm (B) = 15 Letters max.
  • Maxi tote bag (standard size without dimension-customizing: 29cm (L) x 23cm (H) x 10cm (B) = 15 Letters max.

WHERE CAN I MONOGRAM?

These are some usual requests on where my ABR ladies prefer to have the monogrammed name:

HOW CAN I CARE FOR MY HANDMADE PIECES AND THE MONOGRAMMING?

The metallic foil in your monogramming can fade with general wear and tear or if it comes in contact with substances that can react to the composition of the foil, such as perfumes, cosmetics and other chemicals. Excessive rubbing can also cause the metallic foil to fade. As a general rule, you should take care to avoid rubbing your item against rough or sharp surfaces to minimize scratching. Should your product get wet, remove any residual water immediately with a paper towel, pat loosely with paper and allow it to dry naturally. We recommend using a natural solvent such as eucalyptus oil to clean any marks on your product. If your personalisation is fading with wear and tear, please feel free to send your piece back to me, aka R. IG message me @Anastasiabyraine and I will get in touch with you as soon as I can to arrange for the re-monogramming. Entirely complimentary
